The "Water" landscape window is one of five landscape windows in the Ammerland. They were built in 2002 and indicate the special features of the region. The "tower of the dike judge" in the district of Tange is a symbol of the region's abundance of water. It is a sight on bike tour 17 "Water-rich Fehngebiet", which runs for 45 kilometers past water structures such as river dykes, fen canals or pumping stations.

A28 exit Apen / Remels in the direction of Apen until the intersection in the direction of Augustfehn. Turn right there onto "Stahlwerkstraße" and follow this along the canal to the traffic lights. Go straight over the intersection onto "Saterlandstrasse" and continue along the canal to the end. Then turn right onto "Nordloher Hauptstraße" and after approx. 1 km at Gasthof Bucksande turn right into "Deichstraße". Follow this and after approx. 1.5 km you will find the landscape window on the left side of the dike.
