The small locomotive is a monument to the industrial history of Augustfehn and was used by the steelworks to transport raw materials and finished products to Augustfehn station. The locomotive, built in 1960, was supplied by the Christoph Schöttler machine factory in Diepholz.

AB 28 Abfahrt Apen/Remels in Richtung Augustfehn fahren. Im Ort Augustfehn ca. 100 Meter vor dem Bahnübergang befindet sich die Lorenbahn auf der rechten Straßenseite an der Ecke zur "Schulstraße"
